Roseland Garden
Roseland Gardens is a peaceful and respectable multi-family residential development, located at the intersection of Southern Boulevard and Georgia Avenue. This complex is made up of elderly and nonelderly housing units. The project spans +/-11.02 acres in size and is currently owned and maintained by the West Palm Beach Housing Authority. The scope of this project is to partner with an affordable housing developer to achieve the redevelopment of the property. This project included three different requests. The first request regarded the rezoning from a Multifamily 32 (MF-32) to a Residential Planned Development (RPD). This will allow 355 multifamily units based on two phases. Phase 1 : 148 elderly units and Phase 2: 207 elderly/family units. The second request was a site plan review. The third request regarded the following waivers: parking reduction and reduction in required number of trees The first phase will be located on the south part of the site with direct access from Lake Avenue and a driveway on the east side of the property directly on Georgia Avenue. The second phase may introduce an additional driveway, however, this phase wont be concrete until a future date.
