Jon E. Schmidt

Mr. Schmidt acts as lead consultant directing all planning aspects and strategic outlining, as well as implementation of site design on a wide variety of projects. These projects range from mixed use, industrial, and commercial to private clubs and equestrian facilities development projects. His experience includes all aspects of entitlement, such as due diligence, site analysis, detailed design, master planning and public representation. Jon’s expertise in the land planning aspects resonate with an in depth review to identify opportunities for compliance, as well as consistency with the Land Development Codes, which provides the additional framework, compliance and standards for implementation of the Comprehensive Plan; He conducts analysis to outline implementation of development opportunities with regard to Historic Preservation, transfer of development rights and design standards to implement a well-balanced, economically viable project that sets standards for future developments to follow.

Josh Nichols 

LEED AP

Planner Principal 
 

Mr. Nichols has been practicing in the field of land planning since
2003 and became LEED Certified in 2008. Mr. Nichols’ previous
employment at several local municipalities, as well as his ideas,
energy and superb planning skills lend to the firm’s success of
obtaining entitlement approvals. His experience includes all
aspects of the planning process, such as Due Diligence Reports,
Land Use Analysis, Conditional and Special Exception Applications,
as well as Large and Small Scale Land Use Amendments,
Rezoning and Site Plan Approval Applications. He is committed to
being conscious of environmental responsibility and the continued
pursuit of a sustainable future.
Mr. Nichols oversees the firm’s projects through the land
entitlement process throughout South Florida. He is responsible for
all phases of development planning which includes research and
review of applicable codes and regulations, consultant coordination,
preparation of presentations for public meetings.
